Musical Accents is a music teaching studio located in Rowlett, Texas. The studio offers professional music instruction on various instruments & all areas of music.
Piano lessons are currently offered to beginning - advanced level students of all ages. All styles of piano music are taught, including: classical, jazz, rock, blues, country, funk, gospel, and many other styles.
Instruction is also available to students interested in: Guitar (Beginner to Intermediate), Band (All levels & styles), Theory (Beginner to Advanced), Composition, MIDI, Notation, Recording, and Mallet Percussion.

The studio offers lessons to students in Rowlett, Rockwall, Mesquite, Garland, Dallas, and surrounding areas.
Founded by Stephen Hughes in 2004, he has over 25 years of training & experience in multiple fields of music. Classically & jazz trained, along with a degree in business, Stephen provides the perfect combination of extraordinary musicianship with a professional touch. He is a piano teacher, guitar teacher, band teacher, performer, accompanist, consultant, & composer. Stephen is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), TMTA (Texas Music Teachers Association), and currently is the Vice President of MAMTA (Mesquite Area Music Teachers Association).

Spring Performance Studio Recital 2012 Spring is here which means that the Spring Studio Recital is not too far away. Everyone who is participating in the recital should already be working on their performance pieces. Make sure to have your pieces memorized at least 2 weeks prior to the recital so that you can focus on delivering a consistent, confident, & musical performance.

Date: Sunday - May 13th or 20th - 2012
Time: 4pm (please arrive 15-20 minutes early if possible)
There will be snacks & drinks available after the recital so everyone is invited to stay & socialize for a bit.
